This Contract is for the provision of all labour, equipment and materials necessary for the application of pavement marking, pre-marking and layout of same and includes the as required application of new pavement markings (New Pavement Markings), as well as the retracing of existing pavement markings (Pavement Marking Retrace) on various roads throughout the Municipality of Mississippi Mills. The Pavement Marking Retrace work will be the majority of the Work in this Contract. The work shall generally consist of, but not be limited to, laying-out, pre-marking and application of pavement markings, as well as obliterating markings by blasting or grinding, on roads as required by the Municipality for the term of the contract. This contract is based on a yearly renewal. Renewal of the contract is at the sole discretion of the Municipality of Mississippi Mills. The first term starts when the contract is signed and ends on December 31, 2023. Each following one year term starts on January 1, of the contract year and ends on Decemner 31 of that same year. There is a maximum of three (3) renewals. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
