Renovation of a recreation facility in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.

The work of this project consists of This project is intended to address moisture issues at the uninsulated exterior precast walls. The existing furred out wall at the exterior precast which is located above the existing windows within the recreation pool area and the competition pool, is to be removed and replaced with closed-cell spray foam insulation. This will act as both an insulator and a vapor retarder. There is also an existing track, which is surrounded on three sides by the existing pool area. The existing vapor retarder at this track is addressed as well to ensure proper sealing of the space. Bids will be received for a stipulated sum contract The Board of Regents, State of Iowa seeks to provide opportunities for Targeted Small Businesses in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 73 of the Code of Iowa. This project has a participation goal for certified Targeted Small Businesses. The participation goal of 10% is specified in the Special Conditions.
