Site work and paving for a road / highway in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Reconstruct a section of CTH W from CTH C to CTH F. The road is in poor condition and does not meet recommended standards. This section has been patched and repaired multiple times and should be replaced. Preliminary design work was budgeted in 2023 to estimate how much right-of-way will be required for the project. All right-of-way is funded by the County. Additional design work will be completed in 2028 with right-of-way purchases and road construction commencing and completing in 2029-2030. As of February 17, 2025, this project is in the Kenosha County's FY 2025 Capital Budget. Further information regarding a design firm or timeline for construction has not yet been established. Funding is allotted for FY 2029. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
