A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Description: Contract 2024-04-PROD Project consists of the complete paint removal and recoating of the exterior of the 4.0 MG 80th Street Ground Storage Tank with a Fluoropolymer Polyurethane system along with a containment system for the abrasive blasting and painting. Pre-Qualification: Yes Est. Completion Date: Nov. 30, 2024 Site Directions: 4920 80th Street IH-94 to STH 50 Exit, take STH 50 east to 60th Avenue, take 60th Avenue south to 80th Street, take 80th Street east past Cooper Road to the project site. Tank is located on the north side of the street at 4920 80th Street. The BASE BID scope of Work includes but is not limited to furnishing all labor, materials, scaffolding, enclosed painting environment, and equipment for the following major items of Work for the 80th Street Storage Tank: 1. Complete paint removal and coating of the exterior; Touch-up of weld burns in tank interior; Removal and replacement of loose grout around base of tank at foundation, complete paint removal and recoating of previously coated concrete tank foundation; 2. Utilization of an enclosed painting environment during all exterior abrasive blast or hand tool cleaning work on the tank as well utilization of an enclosed painting environment during coating application, if spray applied; 3. Repair of any paint damaged during the installation and removal of the containment system; 4. Clean and disinfect the interior of the 80th Street Storage Tank upon completion of Work;
