Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in East Chicago, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Proposal must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check, drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable bidder's bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the City of East Chicago, Indiana. The bidder to whom a contract for work is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond executed on the specified forms and acceptable to the City, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract The work shall consist of milling, resurfacing, sidewalk reconstruction and milling to repair tripping hazards, curb ramp reconstruction, and all other work necessary for a complete project and as included in the Construction Schedule and Specifications for the 2023 HMA Pavement and Sidewalk Rehabilitation on Various Streets
