*Per Addendum 1, the bid date was extended from April 18 to April 19, 2023 at 2 pm.* The project consists of the demolition and disposal of the existing structure (house) including concrete footings and foundation walls. The site shall be filled and compacted to blend with the adjacent grades/grassed areas. The Scope of this Work includes the removal of an existing house, owned by the Greene County Government. The house is located at 304 Takoma Avenue, Greeneville, Tennessee. An asbestos report is included (attached) for reference purposes. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to include the following items in their bid: A. The removal and disposal of all items noted as referenced in the attached asbestos report. Appropriate removal/disposal data must be included in the Project Closeout information. B. The removal and disposal of the existing house proper, including concrete footings and foundation walls. C. Once the house has been removed, the void created by the removal shall be filled and compacted to blend with the adjacent grades/grassed areas. D. Any existing lawn disturbed/damaged by the removal process must be corrected and seeded if required.
