Site work for a water / sewer project in Windsor, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Scope of Work of this Contract is defined through five separate phases/schedules. Contractors shall provide costs for each schedule, as one or more schedules of work may not be constructed depending on total project cost. Schedule A generally consists of installing approximately 1,023 linear feet of 60" RCP, approximately 544 feet of 8'x2' RCBC's, approximately 60 feet of Type 13 Combination inlets, construction of three concrete structures (two junction boxes, and one outfall structure) relocation of a 16" waterline, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, re-vegetation, erosion control and other miscellaneous work as indicated on the drawings and as specified herein. Schedule B generally consists of installing approximately 711 feet of 36" RCP storm sewer, approximately 429 feet of 8" PVC sanitary sewer, inlets, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, re-vegetation, erosion control and other miscellaneous work as indicated on the drawings and as specified herein. Schedule C, D and E generally consists of lowering a lateral weir and inline weir adjacent to the Kern Ditch, retrofitting the Kern Ditch structure located south of Garden Drive, and installing a Rubicon Measurement gate at Chimney Park respectively, and other miscellaneous work as indicated on the drawings and as specified herein. Questions must be submitted in writing by 5:00 p.m., Thursday, May 4th, 2023. No questions received after this deadline will be answered, unless the bid date is extended by an addendum. Submit questions to droth@windsorgov.com or Doug Roth, P.E., Town of Windsor, 301 Walnut Street, Windsor, CO 80550. Questions will be answered via an addendum to the bid documents and will be issued no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, May 8th, 2023. Each Bidder shall file with his Bid, an acceptable Bid Security in the form of a cashier's check, certified check or a bidder's bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. No Bid may be withdrawn for the period of time after the date Bids are opened which is specified in the Bid Form. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond guaranteeing faithful performance and a Labor and Material Payment Bond guaranteeing payment of all debts arising out of the Work. Prior to the awarding of the Contract, the Town may defer its decision for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to review and consider the bid alternates (if any), to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional bids. The decision of the Owner shall be final. Prior to award, Bidders may be required to submit a Bidder Evaluation Form demonstrating the successful completion of a municipal project of similar size and scope within the past five (5) years and has been in business for at least seven (7) years.
