The Work includes construction and maintenance services associated with a new public park and a new wetland mitigation area located in the Town of Windsor. The project site is bordered by the Poudre River on the northwest, 7th Street on the south and east, and Laku Lake Road on the west. The majority of the project 26.4-acre project site is located within the Poudre River floodway. Details: Park Site (13.96 acres): The Work includes clearing and grubbing, removal of existing parking and trails, installation of new parking, driveways, trails, boulder river access areas, a playground, shelter, boulders, site furnishings, landscaping, irrigation, and other improvements as indicated in the drawings and specified herein. Wetland Mitigation Site (12.44 acres) : The Work also includes construction and establishment of a wetland mitigation area through grading; site preparation; planting and seeding native wetland, riparian, and upland plants; providing temporary irrigation for successful native plant establishment; and constructing a boardwalk, and other improvements as indicated in the drawings and specified herein. The project will require long-lead-time procurement of native wetland, riparian, and upland plants.
