Site work for a water / sewer project in Nehalem, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Site Directions: Access is to be coordinated with City Hall - Public Works Dept. This is a two-phased project: Phase 1 - Installation of new HDPE pipeline by HDD or traditional cut and cover. Length is approximately 8,200 LF. Phase 2- Installation of new pipeline operational equipment. (FUTURE) This contract will be for Phase 1. This project is to replace an old water transmission main, (which is still in use) from a water impoundment to the west of the Nehalem Quarry. The project has a bridge crossing along the alignment, as it proceeds toward North Fork Road. In general, the elements of work include, but are not limited to: 1. Clear and Grubbing transmission water main alignment. 2. Removal and waste haul existing pipeline materials (as directed by engineer) 3. Installation of new HDPE water transmission main by either HDD or cut and cover, contractor's choice 4. Logging road surface restoration with addition of shoulder rock on main alignment. budget constraints require that this project be phased as follows: phase i - mainline installation (focus of this project) phase 2 - installation of operational hardware (future construction)
