Site work for a water / sewer project in Elberta, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of July 12, 2023, the award amount is not determined at this time. The work consists of water system improvements within the Village of Elberta. This Contract includes replacement of aged and undersized existing watermain in several areas throughout the Village of Elberta. The contract includes installation of 5,400 ft. of 12" watermain and 2,700 ft. of 8" watermain. Installation method includes open-cut or horizontal directional drill as noted on the plans. The contract includes new hydrants, valves, connection to existing watermains, and all required restoration (asphalt, concrete, grass, grass, etc). This contract shall be constructed in conjunction with a Water System Improvements contract funded by the EGLE Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program (DWSRF). The DWSRF Water Contract will install water services in the areas of watermain replacement. The DWSRF service replacement will extend from the new watermain (installed by USDA Contract) to 18" inside the structure or to the Village ROW, depending on existing water service material. The USDA contract shall coordinate closely with the DWSRF Contract so watermain and water service installation can occur in the same general time frame.
