Site work for a civil project in Frankfort, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The base bid schedule consists of the construction of 418 lf of 8" PVC SDR26 gravity sewer, 301 lf of 10" PVC SDR26 gravity sewer, 1,761 lf of 12" PVC SDR26 gravity sewer, 70 lf of 3" PVC DR21 force main, 23 lf of 8" PVC DR21 force main, 3,937 lf of 12" PVC DR21 force main and 16 manholes. This portion of the project also includes three jack and bores. Alternate Bid #1 The alternate #1 bid schedule consists of the construction of 4 lf of 8" PVC SDR26 gravity sewer, 373 lf of 12" PVC SDR26 gravity sewer, 14 lf of 6" PVC DR21 force main, 55 lf of 8" PVC DR21 force main, 285 lf of 12" PVC DR21 force main and 3 manholes. This portion of the project also consists of a 2.2 million gallons per day submersible wastewater pump station. Alternate Bid #2 The alternate #2 bid schedule consists of the construction of 1,819 lf of 12" PVC SDR26 gravity sewer, 1,834 lf of 12" PVC DR21 force main and 6 manholes. This portion of the project also consists of the decommission and abandonment of 2 existing pump station sites. Alternate Bid #3 The alternate #3 bid schedule consists of the construction of 607 lf of 8" PVC SDR26 gravity sewer, 769 lf of 12" PVC DR21 force main and 6 manholes Question Deadline 08/27/2024 Contractor should submit written request for an interpretation thereof via email to rcampbell@qk4.com The City of Frankfort Sewer Department reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive formalities and any bid that is obviously unbalanced may be rejected. The Responses will be reviewed and evaluated by a selection committee according to evaluation factors established in the bid documents. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Frankfort in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date bids are opened. He may, however, withdraw his bid at any time prior to the time and date scheduled for opening of same or any authorized postponement thereof.
