Remodeling of a municipal facility in Wauchula, Florida. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 7,582-square-foot municipal facility.

The scope of work includes tenant improvements to 7,582 SF portion of existing building at 115 KD Revell Road, Wauchula, Florida 33873 for the Supervisor of Elections Department: 1. Interior selective demolition of offices and exam rooms 2. Construction of interior partitions, doors, ceilings, voice/power/data, reconfigured lights, reconfigured HVAC ducts and diffusers, reconfigured suspended acoustical ceiling, floor and wall finishes. 3. Demolition of portion of exterior wall to construct new storefront entry door. 4. Construction of exterior concrete masonry wall with stucco finish to receive dimensional letter sign. 5. Construction of new concrete sidewalk with limited regrading as required to limit slope to ADA max slope. 6. Limited new exterior lights The Board of County Commissioners, Hardee County, Florida, hereinafter referred to as County is soliciting bids from qualified company to furnish all labor and materials called out in the Drawings and Project Manual pursuant to the technical specification and this ITB for the Hardee County remodel of the forthcoming Hardee County Supervisor of Elections Office that will be located at 115 KD Revell Rd., Wauchula, Florida. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, machinery, expertise, services, and all else necessary and reasonably inferable from the Bid Documents Any bids received after the time specified will not be accepted. Any uncertainty regarding the time a bid is received will be resolved against the Bidder. In accordance with Florida Statutes, Section 119.071(1)(b)(2), bids are exempt from public disclosure until such time as the County provides notice of an intended award or until 30 days after the opening, whichever is earlier. Bids submitted by FAX or other electronic media will NOT be accepted under any circumstances. Late bids will NOT be accepted and will be returned to the bidder. Bid will be awarded by the Board of County Commissioners at a time and date to be determined later. Hardee County reserves the right to: waive informalities and/or irregularities in any BID, delete any portion of the project; extend the project within the limits of the work involved which in its judgment is in the best interest of the County. Bids may be withdrawn prior to the date and time of bid opening. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bid(s) and may postpone the award of the Agreement for a period of time which shall not extend beyond sixty (60) calendar days from the Bid opening date.
