Site work for a water / sewer project in Altavista, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Rehab existing aeration process for the WWTP over 20 years old and at the end of its useful life. The scope entails rehabbing the intake screenings and structures integrity. There will be new and improved aeration structures as well as VFD operated new high efficiency blowers and mixers, hydraulics flows after aeration need to be improved, with a new NPW system and effluent metering improvements. As of November 8, 2024, a short list of firms has been identified. Per owner, awaiting approval of the Town Council to move forward with the Design Plans. Should have an answer in January 2025.
