Site work for a water / sewer project in Altavista, Virginia. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be performed hereunder shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, transportation, supplies, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the complete and satisfactory rehabilitation of the Town of AltaVista's wastewater treatment facilities clarifier #3 described in the plans. The work shall include, but is not limited to, removal of old clarifier parts, cleaning, repairing, repainting, handrail improvements, and replacement of mechanical equipment within the clarifier as shown on the plans and as described in the technical specifications. As of February 24, 2025, Town Council is moving forward with the Design Plans. Design kickoff meeting is scheduled for February 28, 2025.
