Site work for a water / sewer project in Altavista, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed Bids will be received for the implementation of Town of Altavista Amherst and Novelty Street Water Loop. Work consists of the installation of 1100 linear feet of 6" DIP Water line and associated appurtenances with the Amherst and Novelty Street Loop in the Town of Altavista, Virginia. Bidders certify that they do not or will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin. Should the apparent low Bid exceed available funds, the Owner reserves the right to negotiate with the apparent low bidder to obtain a contract price within available funds. The Town of Altavista encourages MBE/WBE & SBE contractors bid this project and all contractors shall take affirmative steps to assure that small, minority and women's businesses are used when possible as sources of supplies, equipment, construction, and services Question Deadline 03/31/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
