Renovation of a mixed-use development in Altavista, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This opportunity results from a grant award from the Department of Housing & Community Development's Virginia Main Street Program. During the vetting of concepts for the properties, the team requests that special attention be paid to whether any of the following would be suitable for the properties as an adaptive reuse. They are only described in general terms to allow the study to fully develop, with community input, as well as team input and expertise. The concepts listed below do not limit other concepts for consideration. The team requires three prioritized concepts. Both profit and nonprofit uses can be considered.
