Renovation of a municipal facility in Dracut, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Work under this contract will consist of providing all labor, material, any required permits, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary for the replacement of the roof. The Town is also seeking the pricing for alternates for the roof replacement of Fire Station #2, 15 Jones Ave, Parker Memorial Library, 28 Arlington St, Dracut, MA 01826, and PTO roofing in place of fully adhered .060 rubber roofing at the Department of Public Work and the Parker Memorial Library. The scope of work includes removal, disposal, and replacement approximately 13,300 square feet of roofing, and other work indicated in the Bid Documents. There is also four (4) alternates included, which are contingent on Town Meeting aprroval. Town Meeting will be held on June 5, 2023. The Town anticipates this project to begin July 1, 2023 and be completed by September 30, 2023. Questions due: April 21, 2023 @ 11:00 a.m. The Town of Dracut, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids, pursuant to M.G.L. c 149, 44A-44J, for the removal and replacement of the roof at the Department of Public Work, 833 Hildreth St., in Dracut, MA. The scope of work includes removal, disposal, and replacement of the roof, and other work indicated in the Bid Documents. DCAMM Certification is required in Roofing. All bids shall include a bid deposit equal to 5% of the amount of the bid, including alternates. The Town of Dracut reserves the right to amend or cancel this IFB, accept or reject any and all bids and waive minor informalities.
