This Project Consists of Aggregate Base Course, Achm Surface Course, Cold Milling of Asphalt Pavement, Achm Patching of Existing Roadway, Maintenance of Traffic, Rumble Stripes, Pavement Marking, and Misc. Items. Routes: 62 Sections: 20 County: Clay Length: 1.229 Miles in Length. Federal Aid Project STPF-0011(62) In Order to Have a Bid Considered, Contractors Must Furnish a Proposal Guaranty Consisting of Either a Bidder's Bond or a Certified or Cashier's Check in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Total Amount Bid. In Order for a Bond to Be Acceptable to the Department, the Company Issuing the Bond Must Be Named in the Department of Treasury Listing of Companies Holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds and as Acceptable Reinsuring Companies. The Underwriting Limitation of the Bonding Company Shall Be Adhered to. Any Excess (Between the Face Amount of the Bond and the Underwriting Limitation) Shall Be Protected by Reinsurance Provided by an Acceptable Reinsuring Company.
