Renovation of a residential development in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The PHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, specifications, drawings, etc., must request it at least 7 days before the scheduled time for bid opening. Question Deadline 05/03/2023 The Work consists of the following as described in the Contract Documents: 1. Furnish all mobilization, labor, materials and equipment required to complete furnace replacements and duct and flue cleaning for the common area furnaces at McDonough Homes (60 dwelling unit furnaces) 2. The work involves the replacement of existing furnaces, duct and flue cleaning, and may include new chimney liners, larger combustion air intakes (if required by Code), modifications to water heater venting, new thermostats, controls, and other required modifications for a complete Codeapproved installation. Work shall comply with all applicable codes and regulations. 3. Fabricate and install twenty (20) return air duct elbows. Approximate size 30"x12" 4. All required permits shall be obtained and paid for by Contractor. The Contractor shall be responsible for accompanying all inspectors on inspections and providing 48-hour notices to residents prior to entering. 5. The units will typically be occupied during this work. See Special Conditions for services and utilities available for Contractor's use and for Contractor's responsibilities. C. All work under this contract shall be completed by September 15, 2023.
