Site work for a water / sewer project in Richmond, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The lift station has been designed to be constructed with a 12-foot diameter concrete wet well at a depth of 31 feet below natural ground (by caisson construction), with an 18-inch diameter influent line at a 24-foot depth, two (2) submersible lift pumps and back up pump with a firm capacity of 1065 gallons per minute (1065gpm), 8-inch discharge piping and header, elevation controls, autodialer, an automatic transfer switch, and a permanent onsite generator. An 8-inch diameter passive ventilation pipe will also be utilized. The facility will be encompassed by an 8-foot-tall security fence. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining, installing, and constructing all materials per plans and specifications to provide a fully functional and operational sanitary lift station.
