Construction of a new High School Campus Construction of a new Junior High School Campus The scope of Bid Package #2 includes: . All building and site concrete for the Gene Tomas High School Site. (Building and Site Concrete for the Junior High School will be in a later bid package.) . All Underground MEP Scope for the Gene Tomas High School ONLY (Underground MEP for the Junior High School will be in a later bid package.) . Furnish all Chillers, Air Handlers and Cooling Towers - MATERIALS ONLY delivered to the project site - Gene Tomas High School & Ella Banks Junior High School. . Furnish the Main Switchgear Boards - MATERIALS ONLY delivered to the project site - Gene Tomas High School & Ella Banks Junior High School. . Furnish the Natural Gas Generator - MATERIALS ONLY delivered to the project site - Gene Tomas High School & Ella Banks Junior High School. Qualifications/Proposals are due at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 REMINDER **All project related questions need to be sent to Bobby Truchard btruchard@drymalla.com** LCISD GENE TOMAS HS & ELLA BANKS JH SCOPE CLARIFICATIONS Underground Plumbing Scope is to include: Work includes, but is not limited to: sanitary sewer waste and vent under-slab; floor drains and floor sinks; sleeves; temporary cap/protect all risers thru slab; grease interceptor and sample well; fire and domestic water risers; FDC dry pipe riser; testing underground piping; floor cleanouts; any copper required for trap primers (trap primers to be included in next bid package.); underslab hot and cold water; PVC sleeves for gas piping; temporary water hook up; permits and inspections related to the scope of work described herein. No underground plumbing scope is to be included at the concession building or at sports fields. Underground plumbing scope is to be limited to the high school building only. Underground Electrical Scope is to include: Work includes, but is not limited to: all electrical work under building slab (conduits w/pull strings only - no wire to be included); under-slab conduits, underground conduits for low voltage systems; tubing and related accessories; grounding of all electrical systems; pull ropes and identification at all empty conduit; red concrete; all underground electrical conduit beneath building extending 2' out away from building; floor boxes and conduit; communications conduit beneath building extending 2' out away from building; temporary power; electrical system identification; sleeves, fireproofing/sealing of own penetrations. No underground electrical scope is to be included at the concession building or at the sports fields. Underground electrical scope is to be limited to the high school building only. Any electrical or technology conduits exiting the high school building will be terminated at 2' away from the building. No electrical underground installations are to be included at the Junior High. Electrical Switchgear scope is to include switchgear and accessories described by specification - materials only, delivered to the jobsite to be offloaded by others. Natural Gas Generator scope is to include natural gas generator and all accessories described by specification - materials only, delivered to the jobsite to be offloaded by others. Electrical Contractors will need to separate pricing for the High School Switchgear & Acessories (Materials Only), Junior High Switchgear & accessories (Materials Only), and High School Electrical Underground. Pricing is for Cost Allocations only. All Electrical Equipment and Underground installations in this package will be awarded as a Lump sum. Concrete Scope is to include: All structural building concrete, all site paving, curbs and sidewalks at the high school site. Cost is to be included for site lightpole footings. No cost is to be included for sidewalks parallel to FM 723. No cost is to be included for paving or sidewalks parallel to the public road between the high school and junior high. No cost is to be included for athletic field concrete. No field event concrete is to be included, No perimeter curbs at track or fields, etc. No cost is to be included for tennis court slabs. No cost is to be included for screen wall at mechanical yards unless indicated on structural drawings. Cost is to be included for all sidewalks indicated in the athletic areas. No cost is to be included for pipe bollards, chiller pad, transformer pads, generator pads, bench/planter walls, monument sign, canopy footings, unless locations are indicated in structural drawings. Any building concrete scope in this package will be limited to scope designated to be installed in the structural drawings. HVAC Equipment Procurement HVAC Materials that are to be procured in this package include all materials described in LEAF Bid form for Gene Tomas High School and Ella Banks Junior High issued in Addendum 1, including: Variable Frequency Drives, Hydronic Pumps, Condensing Boiler, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Air Handling Units. All HVAC Materials are to be priced Materials Only, including delivery to the jobsite, offloading by others. **DO NOT PROVIDE SUBMITTALS FOR ALL EQUIPMENT.
