Site work for a water / sewer project in Chilmark, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The supply and replacement of (including all demolition and disposal) four 35 foot pressure treated free standing piles, removal and replacement of six 35 foot pressure treated fender piles. Installation of two pile hoops on a concrete floating dock located on the inside of the Drive on Dock causeway installation of a fender system for one corner of a concrete floating dock located on the North West side of the harbor near the channel entrance. Replace stainless clamps on two free standing greenheart piles. Piles have lost clamps and split and will need to be pulled back together and re-clamped. Dredging of less than 1,000 cubic yards of sand from Menemsha Basin as directed by Harbormaster. All dredge spoils shall be placed directly in the beach parking lot adjacent to the harbor to be used as dune replenishment. Coordination of removal of sand from the parking lot will be provided by the Chilmark Conservation Commission. Dredging must be completed during the first week of May, and pile driving shall be completed immediately following.
