Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Thurmont, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Phase I: intersection of Eyler Road & Roddy Road. Replace existing 8 sewer main across Eyler Road from manhole 5Q7 to 507A. Replace existing 8 sewer main across Roddy Road from manhole 507A to manhole 504. Replace existing 8 main from manhole 504 North on Roddy Road 84 feet, (grass area) Project cost to include full restoration of blacktop and grass areas as per Thurmont sewer spec. Two feet of number 2 stone will be used under the pipe bedding for more support of the pipe and roadway. Phase 2) Vista Ave. Road Crossing Replace existing old manhole with new manhole, frame and cover. Replace existing 6 lateral pipe across roadway to new cleanout stack. Reinstall lateral piping to new cleanout stack Replace existing curb and sidewalk Replace Blacktop. Two feet of number 2 stone will be placed under the pipe bedding for support. Project cost to include full restoration of grass areas and roadway per Town of Thurmont specs.
