Site work and paving for a road / highway in Charlestown, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids must be submitted on the attached official Bid Forms, in a sealed, plain envelope clearly marked,BID FOR 2023 PAVING and other related work. Failure to submit any of the above items or the submittal of incomplete or inaccurate information shall result in the proposal being considered irregular. The Town of Charlestown reserves the right to reject any irregular bid and the right to waive technicalities if such waiver is in the best interest of the Town. The Town of Charlestown reserves the right to reject any proposal for any reason without recourse by the submitting contractors, and to award a contract to any contractor on any basis which the Town of Charlestown determines in its sole and absolute discretion, to be in the best interest of the Town of Charlestown. This item shall consist of pulverizing the existing bituminous pavement and base, grading, and compaction. Along with a 2 base course and a 1 wear course of bituminous concrete. Along with completing the construction work under the contract, The Contractor shall also be responsible for engineering services associated with the completion of this project, including but not limited to the preparation of all surveys and test to define surface and subsurface conditions
