PROJECT NAME AND LOCATION (INCLUDE STREET ADDRESS) Southern Fish Hatchery Infrastructure Projects: Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery, 34270 Co Rd 652, Mattawan, MI 49071 Platte River State Fish Hatchery, 15210 US-31, Beulah, MI 49617 Harrietta State Fish Hatchery, 6801 W 30 Rd, Harietta, MI 49638 Little Manistee Wier, 4664 Old Stronach Rd, Manistee, MI 49660 Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Fisheries Division operates six intensive cold and cool water fish hatcheries and several egg collection weirs. They range in age from 20 to nearly 50 years. All of them need various maintenance, updates, and upgrades. DNR has received a capital outlay appropriation to address the backlog of various deferred maintenance projects at the six hatcheries and two of the weirs. ALL questions should be emailed to Jared Gavin-Helfrich at gavinhelfrichj@michigan.gov The Southern Group will include projects at Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery (Van Buren County), Harrietta State Fish Hatchery (Wexford County), Platte River State Fish Hatchery (Benzie County) and the Little Manistee River Weir (Manistee County).
