Antwerp Township will be accepting bids for (3) three cemeteries at the following locations: Mattawan: Maple Grove Cemetery- Red Arrow Hwy Paw Paw: Bangs Cemetery-Red Arrow Hwy Paw Paw: Harwick Cemetery-County Road 657 The bid must meet all specifications as detailed: 1. Mowing will occur weekly by Thursday beginning April 1, 2024 through November 1, 2024. (30 weeks) and weekly trash container emptied. Dumpster provided by Township. 2. Mowing by headstones/monuments and fencing must be hand or machine trimmed ONLY. Any damage that occurs as a result of mowing and/or trimming to a headstone/monument will be the responsibility of contractor to replace or repair. 3. Unless otherwise approved by Township Supervisor all bids shall include April 1, 2024 spring clean-up & October 31, 2024 fall clean-up. Clean ups includes leaves, limbs, branches, grass clippings, and other general "clean- up" of all three (3) cemeteries. The materials can be hauled and disposed of at the Antwerp Township transfer station located on 64th Ave in Lawton. 4. Billing will be monthly and payments will be made after the 2nd Tuesday of every month. 5. Fuel surcharges will not be honored on any billings. 6. Bids should include time and work to trim and mow around objects such as planters, pots, vases, shepherd hooks. 7. Bids should include certificate of liability insurance. 8. Contract for 1 year unless both parties mutually agree with same terms for 2 years contract.
