Site work and paving for a road / highway in Merced, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

General work description: Conform Grind, Dig outs and placement of an asphalt overlay on various county roads. You must perform, place, construct, or install other items and details not mentioned that are required of the plans under the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond made payable to the COUNTY OF MERCED for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of bid, such guaranty to be forfeited should the bidder to whom the contract is awarded fail to enter into the contract. The successful bidder will be required to obtain a Merced County Business License before execution of the contract at his own expense. The DBE Contract goal is Zero. However, use of DBEs are encouraged. Complete work within 220 working days. Prevailing wages are required on this Contract. The Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations determines the general prevailing wage rates. The COUNTY OF MERCED reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals and to waive any informalities or irregularities in any bid or in the bidding.
