Reference Number 0000318019 The State of Colorado, Institution of Colorado State University (CSU), is soliciting the submittal of proposals from Design/Build (D/B) Entities with a focus on solar panel installations using a Design/Build Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) acquisition, contracting and project delivery strategy. CSU intends to select a D/B Entity who will design, manage and construct the project including the contractual closeout of the project as described within. The intent of this solicitation is to design and construct a minimum of one standalone photovoltaic panel and structure with associated infrastructure including underground conduit for future phases and connection to an existing transformer. The structure over the cattle pens will help enable researchers to address the function of the shade provided by the photovoltaic panels to reduce the thermal load on cattle and function as a demonstration site. The system shall be replicable on-site and be constructed in a manner that is suitable for expansion.
