Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Kelowna, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The Kelowna Family YMCA is located at 375 Hartman Road, Kelowna, BC. This building facilitates various sports and social activities and has become an important part of the community. The original building was built in 1980, and since then, has had two additions in 2000 and 2010. A section of the existing asphalt shingle wall and roof are approaching end of life, and the city would like to replace in these designated areas. The works include replace existing shingle roof/exterior wall with metal cladding, new batt and spray foam insulation, WRB membrane, sheathing, and associated works.
