Site work and paving for a road / highway in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 5/3/2023 12:00 PM Contract No. 2 - Street Improvements work including base repairs, mill and fill repairs, vertical concrete curb replacement, pavement markings, and crosswalk improvements. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to the Borough of Gettysburg in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. The successful bidder for Contract No. 1 and Contract No. 2, when awarded a contract, shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds (with suitable surety), as specified in the Contract. All proposals must be submitted online via PennBid and include documents outlined within the specifications. The Borough of Gettysburg reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids. Contractor shall be responsible for temporary traffic control in accordance with PennDOT Publication 213. The cost thereof shall be incorporated into each Bid Item, as required. No separate payment will be made. The roads may be closed during construction. Advance road closure postings, and door hangers shall be placed at least five (5) calendar days in advance with anticipated construction dates.
