Site work and new construction of a parking garage in Walnutport, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a 14,750-square-foot parking garage; and for site work for a parking garage.

As of June 20, 2023, project was awarded to Billitier Electric with $322,234.00, Bracy Construction with $1,943,100.00, Livengood Excavators Inc. with $879,062.00, Shannon A. Smith, Inc. with $255,100.00 and Vision Mechanical with $911,456.00. Total awarded amount is $4,310,952.00. The new 14,750 SF Public Works Facility shall be a Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB). The unfinished portion of the building consist of approximately 13,500 SF of Vehicle Storage / Maintenance Garage bays, plus Mechanical and Storage Rooms. The 1,200 SF finished Employee Services spaces include Office, Lunch / Conference Room, Toilet and Shower Rooms. The building shall be constructed under the following multiple prime contracts: Contract A General Construction, Contract B Plumbing Construction (including Fire Protection), Contract C Mechanical Construction, Contract D Electrical Construction and Contract E Site Construction. The successful bidder who is awarded the contract will be required to pay PennBid a fee of 1/3% of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Lehigh Township, must accompany each bid. Attention of bidders is called to all the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the PA Prevailing Wage Rates, Steel Products Procurement Act, Public Works Employment Verification, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. The Township of Lehigh reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids thereof, and waive any informalities in the bidding, as they deem in the interest of the Township.
