Renovation and improvements to the existing building. Scope of work includes: Upgrade of the MEP Systems - New HVAC & Plumbing System, New Electrical, Technology & Security System, New Fire Protection System, New Elevator; Small Building Additions - New Entry Vestibules & Outdoor Storage; Interior Renovation - New Interior Partitions, New Finishes; Exterior Improvements - Masonry Restoration & Trash/Generator Enclosure, New Sitework, New Hardscaping & Landscaping, New Playground As of September 11, 2024, groundbreaking event held on August 11, 2024. Construction expected to begin late Fall 2024 and completion by Fall 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Architect will provide pre-construction and construction phase services as more particularly detailed in the OFCC Agreement. Preconstruction phase services may include, but are not limited to evaluation of building components, development of a program of requirements to address the District's planned use of the facility, schedule development, estimate development and reconciliation with the CMR, program verification, schematic design, design development, Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) assistance, subcontractor prequalification review and bidding/scope of work review, and construction documents preparation. While the OFCC is not involved, the Architect will provide based on those services. The Design services shall include civil engineering, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering, structural engineering, educational technology design and architectural services to transform the building into a pre-kindergarten school.
