Capital Fund Projects for the following contracts: o Project P Phase 3.1 - Various Improvements - General Construction o Refurbish Harbor Homes Bathrooms o Replace John E. Horan Garden Apartments Windows o Replace Roof at Harbor Homes Scattered Sites o Project P Phase 3.2 - Various Improvements - General Construction o Replace Siding, Insulation, and Entry Doors at Pineview Scattered Sites o Painting at Agnes Priscaro & Eastbrook Apartments. Prospective bidders must include company name, contact person and email address for the electronic link to be released. HACE reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days subsequent to the opening. Contractors must ensure that applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap status; and that the Resident Employment and Training Requirements of Executive Order #11246 and Section 3 Clause of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as set forth in Title 24, Part 135, be addressed in a substantive manner. The Contractor must use their best efforts to carry out the HACE Minority Business Enterprise Policy. The Contractor must utilize, to the greatest extent feasible, minority and female-owned business concerns, and provide employment opportunities for public housing residents.
