Renovation of a water / sewer project in Grosse Ile, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Township of Grosse Ile ("Grosse Ile"), Michigan ("MI"), through its Township Board ("Board") is requesting design build proposals for the design, permitting, construction, removal & disposal of the existing Waste Water Treatment Plant HVAC system, and installation of new heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and odor control systems at the Grosse Ile Waste Water Treatment plant, Grosse Ile Township, Michigan. Bids shall remain firm and may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days, following date of receipt. A Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier's Check, in the amount of five (5) percent of the total bid submitted shall accompany each proposal, as security for acceptance of the Contract by the lowest qualified bidder. Should the Contractor fail to enter into a Contract with the Owner, through no fault of the Owner, he shall forfeit the entire amount of the security to the Owner. The Township of Grosse Ile reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any irregularity in any bid,and to make an award of Contract in any manner, deemed in its best interest. Proposers shall make a mandatory visit to the WWTP for viewing existing conditions for design consideration and it is the Proposer's responsibility to familiarize itself with all facilities required to complete this project for Grosse Ile Township. The proposer's failure to familiarize themselves with all aspects of the site along with Township, State, and Federal laws or other unseen or latent conditions shall not be cause for the proposer to seek additional funds for this project.
