Question Deadline 05/10/2023 at 1:00 PM ET This contract consists of a base bid and deduct/alternate bids. Both the base and deduct/alternate bids involve milling, base repair, leveling course, manhole rim adjustments, pavement markings, and wearing course along Hillcrest Avenue, N. Lafayette Avenue, and Keystone Avenue within Morrisville Borough. The roadway and quantities associated with the base bid and each deduct/alternate are more fully defined on project Plans, in the Bid Form and in Section 01 22 00 Measurement and Payment. Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to Morrisville Borough along with an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance and Payment Bonds will be provided to the Bidder. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of insurance and bonds for Performance, Payment, and Maintenance in such form as meets the approval of Morrisville Borough and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are approved by Morrisville Borough. This project is subject to applicable requirements of the Borough's Responsible Contractor Ordinance for work valued at over Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000). No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of the bids. Morrisville Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or parts thereof, and to accept the bid, which it deems, in its sole judgment, to be in the best interest of the Borough.
