Site work, paving and addition to a civil project in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the addition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Project involves approximately 7,500 square yards of asphalt pavement pulverizing and overlaying with lane widening, approximately 1,100 square yards of roadway reconstruction with lane additions and relocation, approximately 1,000 square yards of roadway reconstruction involving vertical curve improvements, multi-use pathway construction, ditch regrading, driveway and roadway culvert replacements, storm sewer installation, approximately 400 linear feet of curb and gutter construction, approximately 125 feet of retaining wall construction, asphalt paving, tree removal, clearing and grubbing, shouldering, and landscape restoration. A portion of this Work is part of a Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP) Project. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of Village of Elm Grove and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Village of Elm Grove reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. Each entity obtaining Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office will be designated as a Plan Holder of Record. Bids received from entities who are not Plan Holders of Record may be returned as being nonresponsive. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to Village of Elm Grove at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Village of Elm Grove equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to Village of Elm Grove as liquidated damages. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
