The Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority (BJWSA) is seeking professional services to complete fire hydrant flow testing and maintenance. The scope of work will consist of flow testing, cleaning, assessing operating condition, paint condition, nozzle height, and clearing of weeds and debris to ensure that each hydrant is in a serviceable condition. Currently there are approximately 8800 hydrants within BJWSA's service area. The contract will be for the flow testing and maintenance of 8800 hydrants averaging roughly 734 per month.
