Site work for a water / sewer project in Kennewick, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project consists of the replacement and upsizing of an existing six-inch (6.0") concrete main located within two (2) separate easements within the same neighborhood. The existing pipes will be replaced with a new eight-inch (8.0") pipe from manhole to manhole as well as reconnecting existing sewer services. Installation of the new piping will involve replacing the existing mains on private property within a ten-foot (10') easement, five-feet (5') on each side of the back property line. The bidder will have the opportunity to bid on either pipe bursting or open trench excavation in order to replace and upsize these existing lines, but the City will decide (not necessarily based on cost) of which option is ultimately chosen.
