Reference Number 0000318693 Question Acceptance Deadline 05/12/2023 04:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No Bid Intent Not Available Cayuga County is seeking professional services from an engineering firm and/or landscape architecture design firm to conduct a feasibility study for completion of the pedestrian/bicycle trail along the west side of Little Sodus Bay known locally as the Sterling-Fair Haven Community Connection Trail. Generally, the project work will include: a) Identifying and providing final layout designs including trail widths, pedestrian crossings, and materials to be used and incorporated into a feasibility study; b) Identifying the construction documents, permits and easements required to construct the trail; and c) Providing construction cost estimates to be used to secure future construction funding. The Consultant will prepare requested plans, graphics, cost estimates, etc. in a draft format to be presented to the Project Advisory Committee and the public for input. These designs should not be limited to just graphics and renderings but should include realistic cost estimates for construction that the community can use in subsequent grant applications. The Consultant will be required to visit the community in person in order to gain intimate knowledge of the sites and areas listed above. This project is funded in part by a $103,807 grant (C1002285) from the New York State Department of State under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund and requires utilization goals pursuant to New York State Executive Law Article 15-A and 5 NYCRR Parts 142-144 ("Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) Regulations").
