Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and incidentals necessary to repair the boardwalk within Fort Matanzas National Monument in St. Augustine, FL 32084, St Johns County. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses using NAICS code of 237990. The small business standard is $45M. The cost range is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. All eligible responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the National Park Service, however offerors that do not have an active vendor record at SAM.gov or meet the size requirements prior to the RFP due date and time will be considered either ineligible or non-responsive and will not be considered for award. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation. Period of Performance: 06/26/2023 to 08/25/2023 Located to the rear of the Public Restroom in the main parking lot of Fort Matanzas is the Nature Trail. This boardwalk routes visitors 1/8 th mile through the interior of the par woodlands traversing brush and dunes to the river and back to its starting point. This project will repair and correct leaning at two sections of boardwalk in place with in-kind materials. First repair is 56 feet off east loop entrance, and the second repair is 752 feet off east loop entrance. Areas of full replacement include the first 35 feet off west loop entrance and 238 feet switchback at main entrance to boardwalk next to visitor restrooms. Areas to be replaced will be a complete boardwalk package in place with in-kind materials. All work will be performed at Ft. Matanzas National Monument. The existing boardwalk comprises of 4x4x12 pressure treated post, 2x6x12 pressure treated cross bracing, 4x4x12 pressure treated stringers, 2x4x12 composite railings, 2x6x12 composite top plates, 1/2x6 stainless carriage bolts, 1/2x8 stainless carriage bolts and non-corrosive deck screws. Full Inspection of boardwalk is required to verify all necessary repairs are being addressed and to make sure boardwalk meets safety and code requirements.
