Renovation of a museum in Wrangell, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
Discription of the Work:The WORK consists of mobilization and installing helical piles to support the building foundation and slab. Site of Work:The WORK is located at the storage building adjacent to the Nolan Center, Campbell Drive, Wrangell, Alaska. Discription of the Work: The OWNER will open the work site to the CONTRACTOR immediately following the Notice to Proceed. Substantial completion must be reached by August 30, 2023. The Engineers Estimate for all work is approximately $100,000. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the City and Borough of Wrangell in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price. This serves as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. A Bid shall not be considered unless one of the forms of Bidder's security is enclosed with it. The Bidder shall guarantee the Bid for a period of 60 Days from the date of Bid opening. Any component of the Bid including additive alternates may be awarded anytime during the 60 Days. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality in a Bid, and to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder as it may best serve the interests of the OWNER.
