Locations- 64 Court Street, Laconia, NH 03246 (Courthouse) 34 County Drive, Laconia NH 03246 (Administration) 30 County Drive, Laconia NH 03246 (Sheriff) The Belknap County Courthouse- located at 64 Court Street in Laconia has an existing Keri Fob system that is no longer supported and needs to be upgraded and brought current. Additional doors and security measures are being added. The intent is to upgrade the existing access control system and incorporate lock down functionality to keep individuals out while always allowing free egress. The doors being added are the exterior entry door at the public entry (exit door to always stay locked for exit only with existing exit hardware) and the two interior doors at the private entry on the lower level. Entry doors will have rim exit devices installed with surface electric strikes matching the finish of the doors. The lower-levelinterior exit door will have new exit only exit hardware installed and will be locked from outside always. One door at each level will be added to the access control system. The doors will be unlocked each day by the Sheriff Deputies on duty whenthe building is open to the public by activating a maintained action "mushroom" button. One will be located at the public entrance and one at the Deputy station on the lower level. The buttons will be configured so activation at either button will cause the opposite action to the current condition. Locked vs. unlocked. An option to provide similar functionality to two detention rooms on the second floor should also provided. The Belknap County Administration Wing- located at 34 County Drive has no system in place. The intent is to install a fob system to allow ingress and request to exit egress at 2 entry points (6 doors). The Belknap County Sheriff's Office- located at 30 county Drive has an existing IEI numeric keypad system. The intent is to remove this system and replace it with a fob system for ingress and egress and add additional doors that are not currently serviced by the keypad system.
