Gatesville ISD is interested in receiving proposals from responsible parties, for kitchen equipment, at the lowest cost possible and readily available. There is only one Bid Attribute associated with this bid. Please consult the Specification Section of this RFP for details. No substitutions will be permitted. Proposals should be mailed or hand delivered to the Administration Office: Gatesville ISD, Attention: Darrell Frazier, Chief Financial Officer, 311 S.Lovers Lane, Gatesville, TX 76528. The deadline for asking questions. All questions will be answered by Monday, May 8, 2023. Proposals are to be delivered. Any proposal received after the bid due date and time will not be considered. Proposals received in a timely fashion will be recorded. Submitters of successful proposals will be notified as soon as practical after the scheduled May, 15th board meeting. Bid Deadline & Notification Any proposal received after the bid due date and time will not be considered.Proposals received in a timely fashion will be recorded. Individual contact for clarification may occur. The information contained in the proposals will not be released until the school board has approved the selected companies at its regularly scheduled May Board meeting. The winning vendors will then be notified and all others are free to review any or all of the other quotes. Pre-Bid Conference A pre-bid conference will not be held for this bid. Interpretation of Specifications If any person contemplating submitting a proposal is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of these specifications, he/she may submit a written request for an interpretation thereof. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery. Any interpretation of these specifications will be made in writing and distributed to all those that received a copy of these specifications. Failure on the part of the prospective vendors to receive a written interpretation prior to the closing time for acceptance of proposals will not be grounds for withdrawal of the proposal. No substitutions will be permitted. Bidders are reminded that verbal responses are not binding; only questions answered by e-mail or fax will be binding and will be made part of the bidding documents. Gatesville ISD must receive requests for clarification on bid specifications in writing by May 5, 2023. E-mail your questions to Darrell Frazier, Chief Financial Officer: dfrazier@gatesvilleisd.org. Award This bid will be awarded in the best interests of the District and could result in a split award. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities, and to be the sole judge of quality and equality. Awards will be based on what, in our opinion, is most advantageous to Gatesville ISD. Vendor’s bid should specify whether or not a split award is acceptable. Damaged Goods : The successful bidder(s) will be responsible for replacing all damaged/inferior items at no cost to Gatesville ISD. All replacements must be made immediately upon notification. Defective Goods :If problems with quality or workmanship arise on items received, the supplying vendor is responsible for replacing any/or all items at no cost to the District. Motor Pool Delivery Hours Weekday Delivery Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM -12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Deliveries at other times will not be accepted Term of Bid Bids must remain firm for 60 days from award date for bid to be considered.
