Renovation of an educational facility in Santa Cruz, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Description of work: Base Bid: Removal and replacement of damaged starter board, trim, rafters, and purlins per drawing. Installation of pedestrian protection tunnel, painting, and necessary removal and replacement of roof tiles and underlayment and flashings where required. Unit Price #1: Replace 100 board feet of purlin Unit Price #2: Replace 100 board feet of rafter Unit Price #3: Replace 100 board feet of starter board Requests for clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall be received no later than 5:00 PM on May 5, 2023 and addressed only to: Arthur Wellersdick, arthur@ucsc.edu 1. Removal of roofing -saves tiles where applicable 2. Removal of underlayment including sheathing/plywood 3. Replace starter board 4. Replace Purlins damaged 5. Replace joists including hardware 6. Provide new Stainless flashings 7. Paint to match 8. Provide 30 year matching composition roofing where applicable. Where tiles UC to provide additional tiles to match All work to begin approximately 6/19/23 with completion 9/8/23 or 82 days
