Separate sealed Bids for the 2022 Water System Improvements: Contract B - Transmission Line will be received by the Castalian Springs Bethpage Water Utility District. The scope of work generally consists of the installation of approximately 6,330 LF of 12-inch Ductile Iron and C900 PVC water line and all related appurtenances along Mount Vernon Road. Installation methods will include open cut and bore and jack. The project includes a creek crossing at Brushy Fork Creek. No hard copies will be provided. Bidder will be responsible for printing the documents specifically required for Bid submittal, as well as printing of the plans and specifications as needed for Bidder's use. Failure to pay the plan deposit and obtaining Contract Documents from locations other than Hethcoat & Davis, Inc. will result in Bidder not being considered and Bid will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All Bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
