The City of Sedro-Woolley is soliciting bids under the City's Small Works Roster and Limited Public Works Process utilizing MRSC Rosters for the installation of a new metal roof on a picnic building & covered BBQ building at Bingham Park located at 340 Bingham Park Loop, Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284. The current roof is made up of cedar shakes and covers an area of approximately 2,150 square feet. Please see "Exhibits" for photos of the shelter and roof. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Specifications: o Remove and dispose of existing shake roof and underlayment. o Install new cedar barge rafter and facia board on the BBQ structure. (This portion of the building currently has no rafters or fascia.) o Replace any rotten facia boards on the picnic building as necessary. o Supply and install 30# roof felt underlayment. o Install new 24-gauge roof Panels. (Taylor Metals Easy-Loc panels, color to be determined) o Install all drip edge metal, starter metal, fascia cap and clerestory metal as needed. o Install hip and ridge metal flashing as necessary. o Install new chimney flashings to chimney. o Provide manufacturer's warranty from Taylor Metals. o Provide workmanship warranty for a minimum of 1 year period after project acceptance. o Any construction debris shall be hauled away and disposed of properly and legally. o Job site will be left clean at the end of each workday.
