As of June 28, 2023 bids were rejected, no information for rebid. East Lake Pump Station, Heritage Pump Station, Lancaster Pump Station, and Peach Pump Station Reroofing Project Work is to include reroofing both rubber and shingle roofs for four (4) separate pump stations in Millcreek Township and Lawrence Park Township, Erie County, PA. Based on the anticipated Notice to Proceed, the successful bidder will be required to complete all work by September 30, 2023. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective. A certified check payable to the Erie Water Works or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the bidder and a surety company approved by the Owner and named in the current list of Companies Holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds and as Acceptable Reinsuring Companies as published in Circular 570 (current edition) by the Audit Staff Bureau of Accounts, US Treasury Department must accompany the bid as bid security. Bid Security must be submitted with each bid in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) or the bid will be considered non-responsive and immediately rejected. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the Contract Documents or any applicable statues of the Commonwealth of PA or any applicable ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Contractor must insure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color or national origin. EWW reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
