Renovation of a municipal facility in Pottsville, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Pope County is seeking sealed bids for the removal and replacement a cedar wood shake roof for the 1858 Potts Home / Potts Inn Current Museum located at 15 2nd Street Pottsville, AR 72858. 1. Remove all wood shakes from the main building. 2. Inspect and repair any lathe boarding that is damaged. 3. Remove all flashing from the 4 chimneys. 4. Custom build and install new chimney flashings using copper. 5. Install new grade Ajumbo cedar wood shakes to entire roofthat will be interlaid with 18: split roll 30 pound felt. 6. Installation nails will be 2.5" rust resistant ring shank hand drive nails. 7. All work performed must be done to protect and ensure the historical look ofthe building. 8 Contractor must be licensed and bonded with the state ofArkansas. 9. Contractor must carry workman's comp insurance. 10. All safety measures must be taken to ensure the safety ofthe contractor's employees as well as the employees and patrons ofthe Potts Inn. 11. Corporate Bid Bond required of 5% for this project. 12. Site visit available upon request (contact the County Judge's Office @ 479-968-7487)
