Silicon Valley Power (SVP), the Electric Utility of the City of Santa Clara ("City" or "SVP") is seeking proposals from qualified firms ("Proposer") to develop third party energy efficiency programs to achieve more kilowatt-hours in savings for the City's customers. These programs will supplement existing residential, commercial, and industrial programs. The selected Proposer(s) (hereinafter "Contractor") shall meet kilowatt hour-based energy efficiency goals. Any chosen Contractor will be required to report to the utility on progress toward these goals on a monthly basis with necessary measurement and verification results, as well as submit a final report on effectiveness of the Programs, lessons learned, and total energy saved by customer and customer classification. The proposal deadline listed for this solicitation is the first screening of proposals received by that date. The RFP will be extended or re-listed after the initial deadline, and the City will continue evaluating proposals on a monthly basis until until the budget for this program is spent. Once a particular approach or solution is awarded a contract, the City will no longer consider subsequent proposals from other firms offering the same or similar programs. The budget for each program should not exceed $750,000 over a three year period. Q & A deadline: Jan 09, 2024 7:00 PM PT
