The City of Big Bear Lake seeks proposals from highly qualified, professional consultants to assist the City with an update/revision to its General Plan and updates to Title 17 (Land Use Code - commonly referred to as the Development Code) and Title 16 (Subdivision) of the Municipal Code. The consultant will help identify challenges, opportunities, and innovative solutions, and will develop necessary documents for eventual adoption. As the blueprint document, the general plan update must identify policies, goals and programs to guide the future physical, social, and economic development of the City. As the implementation ordinances, updates to the Municipal Code must include clear guidelines and procedures to realize the expectations of the updated/revised general plan.
